1956
Ben M. Radcliff graduated from Auburn University with a double Major in Civil and Mechanical Engineering in 1948. After graduating he then focused on learning the process of building construction at other construction companies. Radcliff founded Ben M. Radcliff Contractor. He began concentrating on light commercial and residential projects.
1958
Ready to expand the business, Ben M. Radcliff Contractor began industrial work, starting with its first project at Aluminum Ore Company. Other projects included Hense Instrument & Valve, followed by Courtalds Chemical and Scott Paper Company the following year.
1960
Ben M. Radcliff Contractor, Inc. (Radcliff) became a corporation and business was booming, taking on three times the projects than in previous years. Radcliff constructed Mobile Eye and Ear Center, Pollman’s Bakeries, St. Luke’s Episcopal School, and began construction on Ideal Cement, expansion of Merchants National Bank and Branches, and Mobile Press Register.

1979-1980
Category 4 Hurricane Frederic blazed through the Gulf Coast, making history as being one of the most destructive hurricanes to the Mobile area in the 20th century. In response, Radcliff reconstructed the Dauphin Island Marina and the Grand Hotel.
1980's
This decade included many returning clients in need of renovations and expansion, as well as construction in the industrial sector in Mississippi.

Ben M. Radcliff, III, began working for Radcliff as a young teenager. Teaching his son the value of hard work and commitment, Radcliff, Jr. assigned his son to work in the field as a laborer.
2021
Ben M. Radcliff, III graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Building Science and started full time at company. His role in the company involves Pre-construction services and estimating.
