Project Description: The Radcliff Project Team completed Theodore Fire Station in 2012. The three bay 9,322 SF Fire Station includes a structural system of load-bearing, decorative concrete masonry units, structural steel and steel joist framing and roof deck. Above the apparatus bay doors include a barrel vault with exposed curved steel joists. The roof system includes metal panels and a modified bituminous system. The Center of the Fire Station includes an Apparatus Bay Room with three bays for Theodore Fire Department Vehicles, on the East Wing of the Fire Station includes a dining room, kitchen, radio room, and dorm rooms, the West Wing includes a training room, workout room, gear room, storage area, and offices.
